GIANT Health is pleased to welcome Wysa to GIANT Health 2026 as part of the NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA) Pavilion, where the team will demonstrate how AI-powered conversations are helping transform access to NHS mental health services.

Mental health services continue to face growing demand, with many people encountering lengthy waits before receiving support. Wysa is redesigning mental health pathways so that when someone reaches out for help, they begin with a meaningful conversation rather than completing a static referral form and waiting for their care journey to begin.

Wysa's clinically governed AI supports people throughout the entire care pathway—from first contact and referral through waiting periods, treatment and aftercare—while helping NHS services reduce administrative burden and create more time for patient care.

Within NHS Talking Therapies, Wysa transforms the referral process into an interactive guided conversation. The platform captures richer clinical information, assesses suitability for services, directs individuals towards appropriate support and places risk flags directly into Mayden's iAPTUS system. This gives clinicians greater insight before the first appointment, creates a more personalised experience for patients and reduces valuable assessment time spent on administration.

The platform's impact is supported by a growing body of evidence. Wysa has been backed by more than 45 peer-reviewed publications, selected for the NHS Innovation Accelerator, and integrated with Mayden's iAPTUS since 2022. Today, it is deployed across NHS services nationwide, delivering 98% patient satisfaction, increasing appropriate self-referrals and helping one NHS service reclaim 1,927 clinical hours for frontline care.

Visitors to GIANT Health 2026 will have the opportunity to meet the Wysa team and learn how AI can responsibly support mental health services while keeping clinicians at the centre of care delivery. The team will be available to discuss how conversational AI is improving patient access, supporting clinical decision-making and helping NHS organisations respond to increasing demand.
