GIANT Health is delighted to welcome XR Therapeutics to GIANT Health 2026 as part of the NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA) Pavilion, where they will showcase how immersive technology is helping transform mental health care across the NHS.

Mental health services are continually looking for new ways to improve access, increase capacity and provide effective support for people experiencing anxiety, phobias and avoidance. XR Therapeutics is addressing this challenge through Boundless, a therapist-led Extended Reality (XR) therapy platform designed to help clinicians deliver structured, evidence-based interventions using immersive simulations of real-world environments.

Traditional approaches to exposure therapy can sometimes create challenges: imagining a situation may feel too abstract, while confronting a real-world situation can feel overwhelming. Boundless provides a bridge between these approaches, allowing patients to experience realistic scenarios at a pace controlled by their therapist.

Through a library of clinically designed XR environments, Boundless enables therapists to guide patients through personalised sessions, helping them safely face situations linked to anxiety, phobias and avoidance. Clinicians remain in control throughout the experience, with the ability to select scenarios, adjust sessions and support patients every step of the way.

Developed with NHS clinicians and built on years of clinical research, XR Therapeutics’ technology has been evaluated within NHS services and is designed to support more effective and efficient mental health pathways. The platform is already being used across NHS services to support children, young people and adults.
