New Migraine Prevention Guidelines Released

Updated migraine prevention guidance incorporates calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP)-targeted therapies and places greater emphasis on individualized treatment selection based on patient priorities.

Preventive therapy should be offered to those with at least 4 migraine days per month, at least 4 moderate-to-severe headache days per month, or substantial migraine-related disability.
