Chief Executive, Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust

A graduate of Cambridge University, Louise’s NHS career has spanned 27 years. Since joining Alder Hey as Chief Executive in 2008, Louise has steered it’s transformation into Europe's only Children's Health Park, designed by and for children and young people and opened by The Queen in 2016. The Park provides a unique wellbeing and healing environment. In partnership with 4 universities it is at the forefront of paediatric research. Louise was awarded the CBE for services to Healthcare in 2017.
