NHS ‘passports’ will see new innovations rolled out to cut red tape

A new “one-stop shop” will be launched so that NHS hospital trusts can access the latest technologies more quickly. Products will be given an “innovator passport”, licensing them for use across the country.
eMurmur, an Ontario-based artificial intelligence (AI) startup, has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for its suite of algorithms designed to evaluate heart recordings captured by digital stethoscopes.
