New strategy aims for welcome NHS capacity increase — but innovation ‘remains key to long-term renewal’

The First Minister has pledged a major expansion of NHS Scotland capacity, but a formal health service partner insists that targeted innovation is also crucial to securing a sustainable NHS for the future.
In an NHS survey of 303 senior doctors, 60 per cent said they would be interested in working for the online service, alongside their existing roles, when it starts next year.
