A large-scale study has revealed that playing video games improves cognitive abilities, while physical exercise enhances mental health, but each activity only affects one domain.
The study, involving over 1,000 participants, found that frequent gamers performed cognitively like people 13.7 years younger but saw no mental health benefits.
